Since I took over riding Shunji, my father has occasionally sent photos to our family Line group, and Shunji is always the subject of those images. In the past, my father never scolded me and would even pay my traffic fines for me, but in the first half of 2025, I accumulated six tickets—illegal parking, crossing double yellow lines, speeding, and running red lights, one after another—and my father finally could not hold back anymore. Since then, I have become anxious whenever my father sends photos to the family group, and I now ride much more cautiously, no longer daring to be as free as before. Thinking about it, Shunji has been with me for ten years, yet I have never seriously taken a photograph of him; instead, he has accumulated several costly images, which have become a rather particular way of recording his presence.
